Path of War Hidden Blade Un-Rogue feat Advice

Advice and Rules Questions

I am building a character as a back up.

My character is known as the Silver eye Serpent

She wears a one piece outfit with a hood made of some type of reptile skin, one armed is completely covered the other arm sleeveless is ripped away to reveal a long slender arm with s snake tattoo that tail that starts around her Abdomen and travels down her shoulder till head is over her hand that she wields are Wakizashi in Her weapon sheath is covered in Black snake scales.

She Has black Hair that is short and messy and silver eyes

She practices the Mithral current path and the Steel Serpent path.

She'll be relying a lot on Maneuvers that cause a foe to be Flat-Footed and The Steel Serpent Ability Damaging Boosts

I do need Advice on Her feats

1 Quick Draw
1 Silver Fang Initiate
1 ????
3 Mithral current stye

As you can see I can not figure out one of my first level feats

I am planning her as a human but if there is a more flavor-full Race I might go with that

Also I know I said Wakizashi but should I go with a kukuri instead?

I'd think the race would most naturally be a vishkanya here.

A weapon which rogues get proficiency in would seem to be an obvious choice.

Quote:
A hidden blade begins her career with knowledge of three martial maneuvers. The disciplines available to her are Mithral Current, Thrashing Dragon, and Veiled Moon.

Not that steel serpent is stronger than those - if anything it's a downgrade - but it's not listed there. She might be a member of Order des Repas Exotiques I guess.

It's ok if steel serpent is a down grade more than likely my character will still be more optimize than the rest of party

Most my group is under-optimized to point they don't use half there Class feature don't take feat or just plain don't fill out all there character info.

Heck a couple players don't even build for flavor they find one or two things they think are funny and build there character as a punchline.

It's OK though we still have fun

A team no
B team no
.
.
.
.
.
. Z Team yes lol

But any ways
Could you recommend me feats for up to level 11?

If you're taking MC style you might as well take MC flow and MC slice at 7 and 11. That leaves feats at levels 5, 9 and whatever you might get from rogue talents, combat trick for example.

3 more feats. You may well want a way to recover maneuvers in combat, probably the victorious recovery feat. Also the lurker in darkness feat is handy for a rogue at later levels, it's Dreamscarred's better version of dampen presence. If you play a vishkanya you may want a feat on their venom.

Edit: to be clear I'm not saying you made a bad choice with steel serpent, I'm saying you made a not legal choice. Check that your GM is OK with swapping thrashing dragon or veiled moon for steel serpent.

Unorthodox Method is a trait you can choose to swap one of your disciplines with another. Pretty common for my PoW characters so I can nab supernatural disciplines.

As for OP,
Consider Discipline Focus for whichever discipline's saves you think you will utilize more. Hidden Blade gets Gambits so I think Victorious Recovery is less useful. More good considerations would be Advanced Study and Extra Readied Maneuver since more maneuvers are always good. Iron Will is great if you want to shore up your crippling Will save. Improved Initiative is always useful.

(Keep in mind Advanced Study does not follow your maneuver progression as a 6 level Initiator. You can use this to get crucial maneuvers or stances early. It also lets you get 7-9th level maneuvers if you take it when you get there.)
