Shove indicates

Success You push your opponent back 5 feet. You can Stride after it, but you must move the same distance and in the same direction.

My question is can you follow the enemy 5ft without burning a Stride action doing so?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The stride after the enemy being shoved is part of the Shove action, you don't use a stride action to do that.

I'm not as certain of that.

Kyrone is correct. The Stride is part of the Shove Action. It would have no reason to be listed if it wasn't.

That's a good point! Thanks for making it make sense in my head.
