I'm having a difficult time deciding which class feat to take. In my build I have room for one feat or the other. My options are Dirge of Room or Inspire Heroics. A little bit about my character first, I play a control oriented Bard, the team relies on me for buffing/debuffing and controlling the battlefield via Slow and other action reducing spells. I plan on taking some AoE control spells at level 9 notably Crushing Despair and this happens to pair very well with with Dirge of Doom as would a Lingering Dirge of Doom if I choose to grab Black Tentacles as well. Of course casting Black Tentacles being 3 actions wouldn't be possible with Inspire Heroics but could work if I casted Tentacles first then next round of course cast Inspire Heroics. Dirge is just such a great little cantrip spell and the fact that it will essentially last the whole fight most of the time it's hard to go against this spell. I should mention I do have Heightened Fear so maybe Dirge loses some value. I'm curious to know, which one do most people prefer between Black Tentacles and Inspire Heroics, vs a boss I'm leaning towards Inspire Heroics, however vs many opponents I like what Dirge accomplishes.

I like Inspire Heroics better, it's basically 6th slot Heroism for everyone in a round but you use a focus spell for that, the destruction that this must do combined with Synesthesia is huge, that combination is basically +5 to hit (+7 flatfooted) that will make the allies crit like crazy, it's a one turn burst that win battles.
And work well with your heightened Fear as well.
