summoner using "shaman enhancement" legitimacy

Advice

is this alternate racial trait for a half-orc pc usable for a summoner who wants to apply it to their eidolon???
I can't find any clarity

Shaman Enhancement You gain a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft checks. In addition, when such a half-orc acquires an animal companion, bonded mount, cohort, familiar, or spirit animal, that creature gains a +2 bonus to Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution, as selected by the half-orc. This racial trait replaces weapon familiarity and intimidating. Source PZO9480

Well, no. An eidolon isn't a 'animal companion, bonded mount, cohort, familiar, or spirit animal'. Seems clear enough.

You could still ask your GM about it. Anything that is available to that wide of a group should probably also be available to eidolons, but the game designers have an odd hatred and fear of all things summoner. It's not like giving the bonus to an eidolon is any more powerful than giving it to a cohort.
