2E GM Credit

I did some searching and could not find any post about this so far so if there is please point me in the right direction. I have ran and reported 13 games to include 4 quests and 9 scenarios. When I check my "Records" the games show up on my characters but there is no GM credit count that I can find. I would have assumed that it would be next to the 1E GM table credit count bu it is not. If it is somewhere else, please let me know. If it doesn't exist, please let me know when it will be updated to exist. My personal goal is to reach 30 table credits before GenCon 2020 so I can provide my tables I play at with 2 hero points (1 for each of the 2 lowest level players).

I don't believe 1E quests count anymore (although someone correct me if I'm wrong), so you would be 1 game short of your first GM Star.

Also the site is currently undergoing maintenance, and in the Blogs I believe it's been stated that the work is almost done.

For 2E, we don’t know how many tables of credit the quests or modules might or might not be toward your new “Glyphs,” there is no overall 2E table count being displayed anywhere in your My Organized Play section, and no Glyphs being shown in posts. Currently, we have not been told a timeline for any of these things to happen.

At least in my area, we are working on the Trust system. If you run a table and say you’ve earned a Glyph by GMing 10 tables, we simply believe you.

Thanks. I was hoping for something official but I'm still optimistic that it will come by Gencon so I don't have to rely on the GM honoring the honor system. Although as far as I know, it only gives you hero points to distribute so I don't see why anyone wouldn't trust you.

I know I have ran at least 10 tables of 2e so I am giving out a Hero Point when I play. It is a trust thing because I have no "proof" of my tables.

We all hope, with the IT person on board, the 2e "things" will start coming online.

We do the honor system in our area too. Everyone knows who GMs a lot, and who doesn't.

I certainly hope quests count towards glyphs/ACP — otherwise, I will no longer be scheduling them.

For Starfinder a GM received credit for a table if they ran at least 4 parts of a quest. And it could be the same part four times. I ran into this when I was running quests at GenCon when it first came out.

I don't mind counting quests toward Glyphs, but I object to 1 quest equaling 1 scenario in that regard. I think it should be 3 quests to equal one scenario.

Agreed. Even a 1:4 ratio of quest to scenario is fine — as long as they count!

I think I remember Bob over the summer wondering if there would be a way to re-use ACP points/scoring and re-scale the table requirements.

Ie we already have official ACP scaling for quest versus scenarios -- and it is 1:4. I'm not sure we have ACP values for modules yet.

If we didn't have the notion of standard/premier/premier plus, it would definitely seem like a simplification to change table counts to GM-ACP by multiplying by 8. However with those extra bonus tiers, I think it complicates things. Personally I'd think its better to not count the bonus amounts towards glpyhs, at which point maintaining separate code to do the counting/scaling (even if you can use the same scaling) is probably less error prone.

There's also the UI side of things for Lifetime ACP versus current ACP, since ACP is a spendable resource.

I remember it being an intriguing idea over the summer, but I think I've just talked myself out of preferring it.

It'll definitely be out by GenCon! Which GenCon is the better question. :P
