PFS1 Serpentfolk Scenarios? (no spoilers please)

No Spoilers Please!

I have a PFS 1 PC. He is an Oread Warpriest. He will be getting a 'particular' item. As soon as he can afford it. Due to having that item, I would like to have him run through scenarios that are applicable to that item.

So I would like some of your favorite scenarios (or PFS legal modules and portions of AP's) that feature primarily the Serpentfolk; but also monstrous humanoids and any serpentine creatures.
They could feature them as just a story plot item (where he is developing his background feelings for the foe).
Allies that he has to work through his distrust of them.
Or especially fine, as opponents that he has to overcome (or at least survive).

You don't need to spoil any of them, I just want to put together a list of what I'm going to try to put together for his career.

#3-17 Red Harvest features nagaji.

I believe a multitable special from the end of season 6 involves serpentfolk.

The Serpents Skull AP has some Serpentfolk. and 7-00, The Sky Key Solution dose as well.

Giving out the scenario names is already a spoiler in a sense as it's fishing for a specific item application, at the same level as to seek out a specific item from a specific chronicle sheet ...

I'm posting here to point out that I can't actually think of any single serpentfolk scenario and not sure if that one event counts fully :p

Really surprised about that since I'd think most of major antagonist groups have at least one representation in some scenario

I'm with Mr. Lam here. We can't answer your question without some level of spoilers.

In my opinion, serpentfolk are one foe that shouldn't be spoiled, ever. Having even the slightest whiff that they might be involved before the game even starts would ruin much of the fun for everyone playing (and running). They're sneaky, vicious, super-intelligent bastards who have survived as long as they have because they have learned how not to be discovered. In most adventures that use them, you shouldn't know there is one anywhere near you until it stabs (or shoots, or blasts) you in the back.

The Serpent's Skull AP is the only adventure I can think of where knowing there *could* be serpentfolk involved wouldn't be a massive spoiler. "Serpent" is right there in the title, after all.

Grand Lodge 4/5 **

Maybe check out any of the Aspis Consortium scenarios? They are "snakes" in a way.

How does playing an AP like Serpents Skull interact with PFS characters?

I remember that if you play the AP you can get chronicle sheets to apply to a PFS character. That doesn't really work for me. I'm want this guy to have the history.
Can I just play the applicable portion of the AP? I think I've heard that some are doing that for their level 12+ characters.

Um, extremely simply? Most APs have PFS sanctioned portions which can be played with PFS characters.

Ah, perfect. Which sanctioned portions are applicable or is it all of them?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The Sanctioning Document available from the additional Resources or the AP product page will list the Sanctioned Portions by area; usually about 1/2-1/3 of the book.
