Root leshys are mentioned on page 86 of Blood for Blood (Kingmaker 4).
"Among the best known are superstitious gourd leshys, clever root leshys, and wary leaf leshys, though others are rumored to exist."
However, to my knowledge, this is the only mention of root leshys, despite them being one of the "best known" types of leshys. Have their stats been released somewhere?
Thanks in advance!

Paizo has been known to return to stuff mentioned years ago, so they certainly keep a track of those. At the same time, not everything gets ever developed as some ideas fade into obscurity after never really striking a chord with the team or audience. Darklight Sisterhood is one example.

Its kinda why I'm always kinda afraid that when old creature gets adapted to Bestiary and then back to APs that writers on adventures haven't read their old ecology articles(or ones expanding them such as the monsters revisited books) :'D In some cases that might be good thing(such as when creative director is like "What? No underfhans aren't supposed to have eye in their mouth", othertimes its like "But it was cool that gremlins reproduced by budding!" while adventure definitely doesn't assume that single gremlin can multiply
