Halfling Luck question

It says it affects skill checks and saving throws. If I were to attempt a trip attack on an enemy and it failed would I qualify for the reroll since it is a "skill" check?

I'd say no. Trip is an attack that happens to use a skill check for the roll, but I don't think halfing luck was intended to reroll attacks.

I agree it may have not been intended, but RAW it should work.

Trip is a skill check.

Trip is an attack.

The two aren't strictly exclusive, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.
