Definition of push and pull

Anyone else thinking it slightly weird how... undefined this is, especially pull?

The Bestiary does state that as a general rule Push is doubled on a crit, but that does not seem to apply to the CRB (where individual push effects state that you push more on a crit).

Neither rulebook nor bestiary define pull at all.

I kind of expected a general rules entry for each.

I guess it's just Forced Movement

Forced movement for me too.

Yeah, the basic gist of each is in the English meaning of the words and the forced movement rules supply the nitty-gritty atop that.

Yeah, but it doesn't actually state anywhere that "pull" is forced movement.

Much less pull in reverse.

Or that the distance is doubled on a crit.

If it had been different in any way from the Basic rule, then they would had stated it somewhere.

Or else, it won't have any sense at all.

In a game like 5E I would totally expect everyone to just rely on their basic knowledge of English to understand the rules.

But in a game like PF2, it comes across as an omission to use, but not define, an ability.
