On AoN/D20PFSRD, there is a short section on elven racial subtypes. One is called "Dusk Elf". It comes from a short blurb in the Advanced Race Guide. Recently one of my players chose this racial subtype for our game, and I was wondering if there was any more information out there about these Dusk Elves? Nothing in Elves of Golarion as far as I can tell. Nothing anywhere besides this one short blurb in the Advanced Race Guide.
Rather than being tied to the terrain around them, some elves are linked to the night itself. Though not tied to demon worship and evil as drow are, these elves are similarly attuned to the magical concepts of darkness and shadow. These elves have the arcane focus, darkvision, dreamspeaker, and silent hunter alternate racial traits.
And that's it... Does anyone else know of any additional lore on this subtype in the pathfinder campaign setting? Thanks!
I don't believe those variants were ever given a writeup or space in the pathfinder setting. The "coreish" hardcovers were intended to be mostly setting neutral. Easiest gm thing would be for your player to just sort of be from a small isolated city or village that worships black butterfly or desna or something similar.
