Divine ally (blade) and critical specialization

Hi there,

Is the critical specialization meant to occour just for the type of weapon or to the weapon you infused your spirit blade into?

Let us say we have a sword and we infuso it with a rune of shifting.

If we turn it into a mace, will we be able to get the mace critical specialization on a critical hit?

I guess so since they gave the shifting rune, but it seems not entirely clear.

Yeah, even if you change the form of your weapon with a shifting rune, it's still your blade ally and would benefit from the critical specialization of the new form.
