[rant]Ecology! Cost! Carbon Footprint![/rant]
Had the same problem. Talked to Sam. They're really doing their best.
Rant edited.
*sigh*
Yeah, I suspect me choosing “cheapest method” is the problem, but previously it has turned out to be a glitch and combining them all was actually better (both fiscally and ecologically).
This isn’t a massive order and it’s weird to think five smaller packages is ever going to be cheaper than one medium package - especially internationally.

Hello Steve,
The shipping method "Standard Postal Delivery" is one which I regularly see ships items in multiple smaller packages for cheaper than other methods could ship it all in one package. When you see multiple packages under that shipping method, its usually intentional as the cheapest shipping method. Mail Innovations International is usually extremely close in price. In this instance it was less than a dollar more expensive, and tends to ship things in one package most often. If you'd prefer one package on the regular for the cheapest available price, I recommend setting the default shipping method to Mail Innovations International.
