If a feat, ability, or trait says to apply a bonus to a check, such as a save, does it also apply to the DC?
For example, if an ability says you get a +1 bonus to Stealth checks, does my Stealth DC also increase by 1?
I've encountered a number of situations where not doing so seems like an oversight, and other situations where it is pretty clear you do5nt do that, so now I'm turning to the hive mind for clarification and discussion.

I believe it should apply. Or at least, that's how it worked in the playtest. This came up with Demoralize lowering AC because it gave a penalty to checks. They clarified that anything that gave a penalty to proficiency checks also penalized those DCs (the same would apply to bonuses). Granted, they reworded frightened in the final version to say this specifically, but i don't see any reason the general rule wouldn't still apply.

Can you give an example ability?
Outwit (Ranger Hunter's Edge) is one such example:
Outwit: You are talented at outwitting and evading
your prey. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to Deception
checks, Intimidation checks, Stealth checks, and any checks
to Recall Knowledge about the prey, and a +1 circumstance
bonus to AC against your prey’s attacks.

I think it does apply. According to the CRB, page 234:
When someone or something tests your skill, they
attempt a check against your skill DC, which is equal to 10
plus your skill modifier.
And:
Skill modifier = modifier of the skill’s key ability
score + proficiency bonus + other bonuses + penalties
