supernatural abilities negating being tied up?

Rules Questions

if a shield archon uses transpose ally after being tied up, do they get to trade the tied up penalty with the unconscious person they used thier supernatural ability on?
bonus if the GM rules they use their transpose ally on a dead ally
do they break out of being tied up due to using transpose ally.

Transpose Ally (Su) Once per day as a standard action, a shield archon can teleport to the location of a willing (or unconscious) ally and immediately teleport that ally to the archon’s previous position, in effect switching places with the ally. The archon must have line of effect to the target.

The archon transport to a location and transport the ally to a location. Not to a condition.

Generally, you teleport together with your gear, so the rope will move with the archon, but apparently, you can leave some of the gear behind, as teleport say that you can bring along objects, it never says that you are forced to do that.

That as some interesting implication, as there are times when you want to leave stuff clinging to your body behind.

I would say yes, they can teleport out of the rope as they don't have to bring gear with them. But I would also say they have to either take everything (including the rope) or leave everything (including any gear).

It's also worth noting, the ally wouldn't be tied up. They would switch positions and all the archon's gear would stay in that square (with the rope).

Btw, if you used summon monster to have that shield archon, it won’t work.
