Can I make a giant Gnome in society?

So I want to make a gnome redeemer for society but I had this idea of making her tall for a gnome. 5'1 to be exact. is that legal in society or will I have to save it for a AP?

Well the Bulk of a Small size creature is generally 3 Bulk, while a Medium creature is 6 Bulk. I can see some {generally niche} situations where this could pop up {dragging an ally for some reason, such as away from a battle, putting allies in a Bag of Holding to transport them via a 'Fly' spell, <remember they got at best 10 mins of air> ect.)

Stealth characters have to care about size a bit.

Actually, spinning off of Stealth, it could also play a Role in Cover, and 'Line of Effect' stuff.

Once a monster tries to swallow you whole you will note the difference, e.g. Warg.

Hmm, and also taking a very quick glance, size would also affect certain skill actions. For example Athletics actions of "Grapple', 'Trip" "Shove" and "Disarm" have restrictions on whom you can do it on based on yours and the targets size {unless I am missing a rule.}

Mounts can also be a case when size comes into play as well.

Well, I thought there was some language saying you had to be in your species' height/weight range, but I don't actually see it now that I'm looking. It does say you must be at least a young adult for age, but that's the only restriction I find in the organized play guide.

However, you would still be "small" sized because the rules say gnomes are small. You would run into some people who would cough and sputter at your fantasy being different than theirs, while others wouldn't care at all. That is always how organized play goes.

Alternatively you could make a human and take the adopted ancestry feat for a human raised by gnomes and roleplay them as thinking they are just a freakishly tall gnome.

That's like being a 10' tall human, but still saying you're medium.
And look human.

I think you already know that's not a concept for organized play, but rather for a venue where a GM can make exceptions for you or collaborate w/ you.
