Hi all,
(I'm sorry if this is a repeat question and its clarified somewhere else)
Just recently picked up the new Pathfinder card game and wanted to get others opinions on wording/how it should be played.
In the previous Pathfinder card game spells would have the wording:
(Frigid Blast)
“For your combat check, discard this card to use your
Arcane or Divine Skill +2d4”
Therefore we would be using either our Arcane skill and add 2d4 or our Divine skill and add 2d4. (Even playing the pathfinder card game on iOS, it would add the die if you were using either or skill)
However in the new core set there is different wording on some of the spells.
(Immolate)
“For your combat check, banish to use Arcane or Divine + 2d4”
(Fiery Glare)
“For your combat check, banish to use Arcane + 2d4 or Divine + 2d4.”
Does this now mean you only get the extra die is listed next to the skill? Therefore if I were to use Immolate as a Arcane mage I would only get to use my arcane on the combat and not add the extra 2d4? If that’s the case a lot of the spells cater to Divine casters, there are multiple spells that only benefit if you use the Divine skill over the Arcane trait. Why would there be different wording like that? Or am I looking/thinking too hard about this?
I would appreciate any input!
Thanks all!

Also the case with Frozen Touch (Curse 0), Harrowstrike (Curse 1), Sonic Blast (Curse 1), Deathgrip (Curse 2), Volcanic Storm (Core 3), Wall of Light (Core 3), Ice Strike (Curse 3), Death's Touch (Curse 4), Icy Prison (Curse 5), and Boneshatter (Curse 6).
I'm pretty sure it's just inconsistency in how it's written and the bonus dice are intended to be used for any of the listed skills. I believe all weapons list all skill options before the bonus dice are defined.

Both of those mean the same thing. Pick Arcane or Divine and add 2d4 to your choice. If it was different the wording would be something like “use Arcane or use Divine + 2d4”
That said, I wouldn’t say no to an errata that makes the Core cards consistent :)
