Just to confirm, does the elemental type change your bloodline spells? Like water sorcerers would basically cast "Waterball" instead of Fireball?

This feels like a dumb question. I see the line about the asterisk in the Core Rulebook and that the damage type changes, but wanted to be sure that Burning Hands is literally shooting water or air or whatever.

Yes, the marked spells use your element, which for all but fire means they deal bludgeoning damage.

Thanks! I understood the damage changed to bludgeoning; I just wanted to be sure I was visualizing how the spells looked correctly.

For my group we changed the secondary effect of the spell to be related to the element, but I think we decided as a house rule that only air would continue to inflict a persistent damage effect, like a buffeting whirlwind. For Earth and Water we decided the cone area would count as difficult terrain until the caster's next turn.
