Everytime my brother goes to the cabin, he wrecks something. One trip he left the coffee maker on and it melted to the cabinets. Another he left the windows opened and it stormed for a week wrecking a sofa. He is quite adept at wrecking motors on both our pontoon lift and the water well. Probably stuff ive forgotten too.

I say it sarcastically on the messageboards (or to myself, if I don't feel like replying) whenever someone comes up with a character build exploit that pretty much ruins the game for anyone who hasn't likewise exploited the rules beyond all reasonable design expectations. Or someone who tries to argue that, say, they should be allowed to play a priest of Asmodeus in Hell's Rebels or a paladin of Iomedae in Hell's Vengeance or whatever. Or when I encounter That Guy at a PFS game--the one who brings a 5th level character when everyone else is level 1, the one who can't believe none of these level 1 characters has a cure light wounds wand, and who is playing a mad bomber alchemist without the ability to exclude people from his splash damage and gets huffy about other players not letting him just huck his bombs... That Guy.
I think what it means in these contexts is that we have this fun game and people ruin that fun while defending their actions as within the rules/customs of the fun game. Hence, we can't have nice things.

it's called 'splash damage'. Suck it up or go whine to the cleric!
