Optimised PDFs

I was gonna ask this question months ago, and then I forgot about it. I'm also pretty sure I know the answer, but I figured I'd check.

Will there be 'lite' PDFs available at launch?

I notice that Starfinder doesn't seem to have them, though I suspect the basic PDF is considered optimised enough. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what we're going to get with PF2.

At the page count of these books, I can't really see what you would do with an un-optimized PDF...

The PF1 Core Rulebook I have in Lite, Full, and separate-file-per-chapter PDFs. I'd be surprised if they didn't do the same for 2e.

Yeah? Like how? Has there been a large book released recently without the option? I don't have the Starfinder pdf so I've no idea other than the core rulebook and Bestiary 6 split pdfs I have.

You're right, it is the smaller books (adventure paths and campaign setting books) that they stopped making multiple versions for. Planar Adventures and Alien Archive 2 both have multiple PDF versions.

I really hope that they reintroduce these lite pdfs. they are just so much better if you are using a low power device to view them.
