Envoy 'Git em' and 'Improved Git em'

I see from several sources that Git em and Improved Git em is being used as such;

Move action = +2 on enemy #1

Standard action = +2 on enemy #2 with an attack by the Envoy.

Is this RAW or RAI?

We haven't discussed this with our GM yet, but among the players it seems the above is cheesy. That Improved Git em simply allows a move action +2 on one enemy or a standard action +2 and attack on one enemy.

Thoughts welcome and thank you.

Get 'Em: As a move action, you can choose one enemy within 60 feet. Until the start of your next turn, you and your allies gain a +1 morale bonus to attack rolls made against that enemy.

Improved Get 'Em: Your morale bonus from get ’em increases to +2. As a standard action, you can make a single attack against a target within 60 feet. You and your allies within 60 feet gain the benefits of get ’em against that target (applying these effects before making the attack roll).

I cut the resolve spending parts out, since those weren't questioned.

So, yeah, using Get 'Em as a move and Improved Get 'Em as a standard works fine.

I'll get you, my pretty. And your <blam> little dog too.

But in all seriousness, as for game balance and cheesing the system - I don't see a problem with it.

Applying the +2 to two different enemies doesn't increase the number of attacks that your party is doing. It would be useful in some particular cases, like if one of the enemies is low on HP and you expect it to go down in the next round, or if two enemies are silly enough to go toe-to-toe with a melee player that has the cleave feat.

And the cost for doing this tactic is nearly the entire round of the Envoy player.

It will come up occasionally. The cost is significant and appropriate for the value. And it doesn't break the system. Sounds good to me.

The way you explained it has it making more sense to me now.

As a standard action it's going to compete with Dispiriting Taunt, but provides a very nice option with the attack that is possible with Git em now.

Our Envoy will possibly be looking at Clever Feint down the road as well.

Seems good to me too. Actually to me it seems to be a function of those two abilities that I missed and I love envoys. It never occurred to me that you could do that, I assumed it was one or the other but once you called it out I see no reason why I assumed that to begin with. There are no limiters there that would prevent you from using getem in both ways in the same turn.

Excellent
