I'm working on a build for a melee healer mystic, and I picked up Diehard forgetting that it was not like Orc Ferocity. What I'm really interested in doing is making it so that before I go down in a fight, I have a chance to cast a healing spell to stay up. Are there any augmentations or magic items that can grant me that racial ability?
I know I could probably level 2 polymorph for it, but I'm looking for something that I can maybe use in a pinch, and casting a spell that provokes doesn't quite fit the bill. Any suggestions?

Combat Casting and Focused Spellcaster feats help to cast without eating an AOO or cast even after eating an AOO. Good even if you do have a separate "I can still cast despite this condition" ability.
Polymorph 2+ to take the Ferocity racial trait from one of several races that have it to keep going at 0 HP.
Biosynthetic Nanites (skin biotech augmentation) let you spend resolve as a swift action to heal, letting you heal during combat without hurting your spellcasting or (non-full attack) offense.
Backup Lobe (brain biotech) lets you spend resolve to ignore conditions that would prevent you from acting.
Adrenal Booster (endocrine cybertech) lets you stabilize and stay in the fight as the same action, so you can at least wake up and cast the turn after you go down, albeit from a prone position. Works well with the Threshold Buffer (heart cybertech) that gives you bonus Resolve for the purpose of stabilizing or staying in the fight.
There are also archetype abilities (Steward Stalwart) and feats (Divine Blessing Nyarlathotep) that help you ignore conditions or regain lots of stamina to keep going.

There's also the auto-injector armor upgrade, which lets you put a serum or a spell ampule in it and use it as a move action without having to rummage through your stuff and actually drink it.
Not quite what you're going for, but in the general area.
And, those biosynthetic nanites look rad! Thanks, Xenocrat, for pointing that out. I totally want a set of those now.
