Hi Paizo tech people
There must be a reason for not doing this, but is there any chance things have progressed enough that you might be able to roll the watermarking/zipping/downloading procedure into one process from our end?
The interface looks a little weird from the outside. The impression I always get is that I'm redundantly clicking on links and pages are refreshing while who-knows-what happens in the background. Then suddenly I notice I have a download (or occasionally two copies) ready to unzip. It's also happened more than once that halfway through the download I navigate away without thinking and have to go back to start over again.
What I'd like to be able to do is to go to my list of PDFs, click the file I want, move on to other things (possibly leaving the digital downloads page altogether and go back to browsing the forums) then have a popup window say "It's ready, do you want to unzip it or save it?"
Any chance that is an achievable goal at some point? (Bonus points if I can click on half a dozen files, go away to read the forums and then have a bunch of windows open up one after the other down the track).
Cheers
Steve

Hello, Steve!
We're currently working on a number of major quality of life improvements we're planning to roll out over the next several months. Included in this list is one-click downloading. We're also hoping to follow up with automatically managed multi-file downloading, though there are still a few moving parts to sort out in that regard, so that may not show up until later this year.
The most significant obstacle to the timely release of these features is a number of mandatory and significant infrastructure upgrades. We've spent a large portion of the last year paying down technical debt behind the scenes, and there's still significant effort needed in that area.
