We are beginning a new campaign where we are ourselves transported to a new dimension with special abilities. Fantasy Setting. I have decided and been approved by the DM for a Rogue. Sylvan Trickster Archetype with the coming Arcane Trickster prestige class. As much fun as this is going to be I am not sure how to optimize it to the fullest here. Looking for advice on how to make the DM cry. LOL

If you want to make the GM cry specialize in stealth, climb, disguise, disable device, perception, slight of hand, appraise and bluff. Refuse to do anything heroic or dangerous. Go on a robbing spree where you disguise yourself and steal as much as you can before leaving for a larger town/city where you can fence your stolen goods.
Never try to steal from anyone important, powerful or particularly wealthy. Try to avoid all combat. Try to involve the other party members in this if they are willing to go along with it. Totally derail the campaign.
That should make any GM cry. This is about making him cry, right? Not about being OP?

If you dip a level in Brawler with the Snakebite Striker Archetype, you can get your 2d6 Sneak Attack with only 2 levels instead of 3, so you can start taking levels in Arcane Trickster faster.
I think the fastest way to get to cast level 2 Arcane Spells is with 3 levels in Wizard, but there are other options that might yield really cool results.
