By "manual deletion" do you mean that the person deleted their own character and now you want Paizo to run a backup tape and retrieve the data?
Is it your account? Or are you asking Paizo to alter someone else's account at your request?
It's the week before the main Paizo con for the year. It's the week before the main Paizo con in the year that they're releasing a new game.
You may have to wait until after GenCon for them to have time to do this. And even then, they'll be in the midst of the launch of the biggest product their company has released in the past 10 years.
It may take a while for them to have time to do you a favor like that.
This is purely for my curiosity (I know nothing about computer systems other than the paizo site, but I'm always interested in understanding how it works here).
Was it an alias of your current account? Or a second account of yours tied to a different email address?
I'm wondering if it was a glitch in the antispam procedures. (The main cause of deletions, I suspect).
I wasnt accusing you of any impropriety. I was just curious what you meant. (I have plenty of aliases also).

I've never seen that happening, but I've been having real issues with the site in the last couple of days and there's a post similar to yours a few posts down.
I wonder if they've rolled out some new code or something that's causing issues.
