Gloves of dueling and Martial focus

Gloves of dueling don't work with martial focus.

Generally, as a rule of thumb, if it doesn't say it stacks with something, then it doesn't, so no

You don't have a weapon training bonus. There is nothing there for the gloves to increase.

I assume Waldham is trying to go from effectively a +0 Weapon Training to a +2 with the gloves, though it doesn't work for the reason will already pointed out.
