I'm curious how Dragon Disciple works with a Blood Rager with the Draconic Bloodline.
How does Blood of Dragons work with Bloodrager? Will the bloodrager get to stack his bloodrager levels with the PrC to determine what abilities he has?
Claws from the Bloodrager class are always out, so does that mean bite of the Dragon is going to be always active?
Will the Bloodragers claws grow according to the bloodrager class feature or the PrC Blood of Dragons feature as one progresses faster than the other. Several other abilities come faster thanks to the PrC than the Bloodrager class so im curious which is also better in the long run?
I did a quick search and saw that this very question has been asked before 5 years ago, wondered if any new rulings have come along.

For starters there is an FAQ stating that Blood of the Dragon also applies to bloodragers bloodlines.
Bloodrager claws are not always active, they are only usable during a bloodrage, so that is when the bite will be active.
Which is better? Hard call. You lose BAB and rounds of rage per day, but gain raw stats and bonuses by going with the PrC.

Well there is the FAQ that makes it so any draconic bloodline, not just the sorcerer one, can go into the dragon disciple prestige class. This opens up the possibility of eldritch scion magus or bloodrager D.Ds.
You get the abilities of your bloodline as normal for bloodrager, and D.D adds to your bloodline as normal. You ALSO get the D.D abilities, some of which override the bloodline's abilities (particularly, the claw damage increase) but you still gain all the abilities of the D.D prestige class at the levels indicated.
You only gain your bite attack when you also have your claws. You only have your claws when you rage.
The most common combination is to only go 4 levels of D.D. You only lose 1 BAB and one spellcasting level that way. Going further in the prestige class is widely considered not worth it.

I had a player do Eldritch Scion/Dragon Disciple.
The main problem was Eldritch Scion has so many bugs in it I had to do a chunk of "well they probably meant it to work like this" and "those are clearly typos that should probably be something like that" as well as working out how some of the abilities that are similar or same work. Do they stack to some degree or are they just wasted.
So yeah, in my experience it takes a bit of work between Player and GM to make this work.
