Archive of Nethys has taken over as the official PRD for Paizo. So that site will be handling such things going forward.
I see absolutely no reason that it won't cover PF2, and indeed I believe the site owner specifically said that it would. Based on precedent, that would include covering every PF2 book published by Paizo.

Interesting..My impression, when that partnership was announced, was that it would be a legacy site for PF1 content.
But moving the PF2 PRD away from Paizo and to a partner makes a lot of sense. Paizo is stretched very thin and wasn't great about timely updates to the PRD, I imagine everyone will benefit from handing that off to a partner.
The question remains, of course, as to what books/product lines will be included and how much of a window we'll have between publication and posting to the PRD.
Honestly, I was kind of expecting Paizo to pull that all back in a little, since it seems to be working for 5e well enough.
But however they decide it I'll be curious how it goes. (And will support their decision! It's hard enough to get paid in this industry, by all appearances, without giving away your design work for free!)

I don't believe so.
I might be misremembering of course, but I see no reason they wouldn't continue such a partnership having found it workable.

Definitely.

I can't speak to timeline, but I believe it'd be the mechanics, at least, from all books they publish for PF2. And, indeed, almost must be. They can't do what 5E does, since they're still under the OGL. It is literally impossible for them to keep anyone who wants to from posting...well, frankly, almost any mechanics they like. It's thus advantageous to them to set something up where you get those and the flavor stuff that goes with them ala Archive of Nethys.
But however they decide it I'll be curious how it goes. (And will support their decision! It's hard enough to get paid in this industry, by all appearances, without giving away your design work for free!)
Oh, totally. I wouldn't begrudge them keeping some stuff under wraps if they did...I'm just pretty sure they really can't and that being the case might want to lean into it. Which is what I suspect is gonna happen.

Thanks, DMW. I guess I should actually go read the OGL at some point to get a sense of what Paizo is working with.
I went back and checked the AON announcement and you're right that it wasn't explicitly about PF1.
There was some language in there about a "legacy" PRD and that must've stuck out to me. But the announcement isn't limited to that.
