What I expected from Humble Bundle Pathfinder bundle:
1. Pay Humble Bundle
2. Bulk download purchased items
What I actually had to do
1. Pay Humble Bundle
2. Create Paizo account I don't want or need
3. Click on individual item to "personalize" download
4. Wait sixty seconds
4. Click again
5. Click a third time to start the download
Ridiculous waste of time, and the last Paizo bundle I'll buy.

FYI: You don't have to wait the full 60 seconds, a few seconds will do ya.
Also, you can download more than one file at a time. :-)
Limit used to be 25 connections at a time to the personalization server, which takes 5-10 seconds... I've had 125 downloading at once in the past when I was backing up my PDFs to the laptop I use for cons.
If you right click on the download link, and choose to open it in a new tab, you can track if it personalized/downloaded more efficiently.

Hello blug,
I'm sorry you had such a difficult time with the download process. It's true that our download process is not designed with the assumption that you will need to mass download the files. We have noted that this is something our customers want. The positive part of keeping the downloads linked to your Paizo account is that those downloads will always be there for you to access by just logging in.
Thank you to our other community members for offering your experience and suggestions for navigating the download system!
blug, I will follow up with your concern via Email.

Any update on this?
I have roughly 120+ items to download and clicking links one by one is not really acceptable nor appropriate.
If you want an example of how this is done right, have a look at DriveThruRPG and their downloader. You configure it with your creds, open it up and then just check the items you want to syncronise with your local storage. Job done, the app does the rest.
While not a standard web dev's job, it's not actually all that hard to build.

Well it's 2023, there's another humble bundle pack to download, and still no bulk download option.
...and I have to monitor each file and click it three times just to download it??? This is ridiculous. With all the new people trying out Paizo products right now, this is not a good image to present to customers.

Suggestion for Paizo for an improvement to the download process:
1) Using checkboxes, select multiple downloads.
2) Press button to send all selected items to the personalization queue.
3) After everything is completed personalizing, create a zip file with all PDFs.
4) Send email to customer with link to download the zip file, good for 24 hours.

I also bought the humble pack, and if I had known beforehand how much of a s-show this would be I'd not have bothered.
Fully expecting bulk downloading to never come.
However, something I haven't seen mentioned besides the almost troll-level download page is the fact that downloading seem to be capped at 100KB/s.
I should not have to wait 30 minutes for a few MB. I have gigabit - those files should be on my pc near instantly.
I should not have to click 3 times to even start the download.

I bought ebooks by Packt a few years ago on humble bundle.
I did not have to create a Packt account, nor did I need to navigate a website that needs a makeover since 20 years ago.
They gave the files to humble to host.
I can still download those files today. All those downloads are in a single place, without any time limit. So quit the bull.
You did this so you can go "oh, this file is no longer available wink wink why not try this instead" later on or just outright deny someone access if you please.
Give your IT dep. & Webdevs a bigger budget. take this website & its services from 1990 to 2023.
I hope Pathfinder itself is not as badly run & designed as the website - otherwise this will be a very short stay for me.
