So I have a Level 6 investigator/1 Swash and the PFS character has been doing pretty well as a generalist. Last session though was really rough alchemist bombs took him down to 3hp and there was no healer so I spent like 3-4 rounds using a wand to at least get me up to survive a hit...meanwhile the guy taking out a big bad was dropped and I'm trying to bring him up. Mainly because while I have my rapier and a back up heavy mace I had no slashing weapon.
Last fight was made easy when I pulled out my wand of faerie fire to negate the wizard's blur spell. So I'm trying to figure out some easy things that might be able to kinda shore up the character. All my level 2 extracts are alchemical allocation So in a emergency I think I'll keep a pot of either cure moderate or serious. I thought about getting a level 3 wand (say haste) but 10k is really steep. I pretty much have a umd of 19 so any wand is a option and like I mentioned I have alchemical allocation and 4x per day I can make a potion my level and extend it.

Not sure if pfs forum would be right, mainly due to it could be applied to a non-pfs (thought this forum is busier too) I hate to give up a alchemical allocation but Ablative barrier is pretty nice. I usually keep a extract of see invisible, that can't be a potion right? I keep thinking there was a spell to change weapon damage (piercing to blunt etc) or is that just a feat? Any other low level spells that might be good to have on hand?

Versatile weapon beats DR/slashing among other things. It's 3rd level. It could be an oil but not a potion since it affects weapons rather than their wielders, which means alchemical allocation can't do it.
See invisible is scroll, wand or extract - as a personal spell potions won't do it. Remember scrolls are a thing for little used spells.
You probably want potions of fly, barkskin, maybe tongues if comprehend languages isn't enough. Edit: and heroism of course.

Ah forgot all about scrolls that would be a good option. I think the wand was 4500 gp which is high for a emergency item imo I doubt I would need it 50x. I'm trying to keep the 2nd level extracts for alchemical allocation and the potion shop I'm keeping on me :) So far I use potions of barkskin and heroism the majority of the time but they last 2 hours and barkskin gives me +3 AC. I really like the ablative barrier so I had one extract of see invisible but think that will replace it. 6 hours and 30 damage could really help during surprise attacks. Wand of ill omen might be a good option too. Think I have a wand of comprehend and pot of fly. Currently speak 11 languages but the tongues pot might be a good idea. I'm thinking either a pot of cure mod or serious, just in a pinch I can make it my level and if I use the alchemical allocation that would give me a serious heal in a pinch if no healers. Better than spending 3+ rounds trying to heal at 1d8+1 leaning towards the mod pot just to save cash.
Forgot that I can purchase items from past adventures (like say a wand with 11 charges for a discounted amount) I'll have to research that too.

any rules against buying a partially charged wand?
i mean, it's not like we EVER find fully charged wands in PFS.
