Looking to run the Strange Aeons AP from beginning to end. This will take years, be ready to commit.
I travel for work, and this will be run while I travel. I would expect players to post, or update on a regular basis, once a day minimum prefered. I have the same expectation for myself.
I am looking for 4 to 6 players, six being better incase other players forget or are unable to post for awhile.
Now onto some mechanics.
- No 3PP
- I am open to most character races. If you want to play something uncommon ask.
- 25 Point Buy.
- I expect people to play a class they want to play. I just ask that you consider balancing it with the other party members, so everything is covered.
- Max starting Wealth based on class.
- Leveling will happen according to the AP, not exp.
- Characters will be placed on Google Drive. Format isn't all that important so long as it is organized, and editable.
- Posting/rolling will be done on Discord
I am a fairly open minded GM, I only nerf, or restrict activities that are being used in a way that harms the enjoyment of playing. I expect players to behave like adults, if you act like children I will treat you like children, by taking away your toys.
PM me if interested, or with questions if you might be interested. Post your character ideas in thread or PM. How much of your character you reveal to other players is up to you.

- No 3rd-party's a bit of a bummer for me; is there any wiggle-room? What about Pathfinderized 3.5 stuff? What about limited custom modifications to Paizo material, or homebrewed stuff from these boards? There are one or two things on here that would be particularly great for Strange Aeons.

Discord is a chat/text program/app. It is being used because I travel on a daily basis, and a connection for my computer may not be available on a regular basis. My phone on the otherhand has an excellent connection everywhere I go.
Not going to budge on the 3rd party stuff, sorry.
As for some modified 3.5 material, that depends entirely upon the material itself. Same goes for homebrew materials, it entirely depends on what it is. Flying Pink Unicorns will be shot on sight, purely in the name of self defense.
If you have specific questions, about specific material/options PM me, and we can discuss it.

I'll be fleshing out the stat-block, appearance, and personality of my Swashbuckler leveling into Magus here soon. No backstory, because you said not to.

Probably going to build some occult class, maybe a psychic. I'd probably go amnesiac if I do that.
I'm interested. I tend to enjoy caster-type classes more in PbP, but can be flexible based on party composition

Well, if we're sharing, here's Wodin Brighthearth, the Dwarf-Aasimar Oracle I am considering playing. So far it looks like damage dealing should be pretty well-covered, so he will likely be the character I go with, but I'll still build the Warpriest just because.
We need people with knowledge nobilty and history.

I PMed people and there will also be a psychic and binder, it sounds like. I'm thinking for myself either an (monster tactician) inquisitor or bard, personally. We seem to be lacking in skills a bit.
I have a 5e game today but will post up what I finished with tonight.
Edit: I was leaning the inquisitor, but if there's a strong need for knowledges that the others don't fill, Bard would definite be an option
I am the psychic. I have diplomacy, Arcana,dungenering, plane, religion and craft (painting) and perception, i think in the long term take, spellcraft,use magic device, bluff, sense motive.
But I can change, since we have an inquisitor.
We still need someone with disable device.
I am okay with the inquisitor. Find the heretic!

Here's my first stab at an Monster Tactician Inquisitor of Madness. Since it sounds like we have the frontline covered I didn't build him as fully "Reach Cleric" as I might have. Only downside I can see is that he's a bit lighter on skills than I would have liked. I'll continue poking around, but I wasn't sure if "Midnight tomorrow" meant half an hour from now, or 24 hours ;)

We-ell, mage...but not "caster", per se. The Tome of Magic was all about trying to field 3 entirely new and different forms of magic, both in concept and mechanics!
