Honestly, a whole lot.
1) I can't imagine these would be even SOMEWHAT common literally anywhere outside of the Mystic Conclave the breeds them or whatever contrivance the GM uses to justify its existence.
2) No on the healing abilities totally 100% if this is a pet you're supposed to care for it, not put it in mortal danger by taking it into combat.
3) Rare pet animals in real-life can be CRAZY expensive, way more than you probably realize and we are talking about normal, mortal, dumb animals, not a super crazy awesome radiant holy dog.
I'd make it a quest for your PC, and place a prohibitively high cost on this, especially if you're dead set on taking it into combat scenarios as a trained animal and it getting healing powers.
Something like 1.5 Million Credits or a character arc for your PC.

Okay, how much would adopting a Space Corgi cost? :)
The Space Corgi is a CR 1/3 creature with animal intelligence.
Which skill would one use to teach it "tricks" (as per Pathfinder).
I ask because my RL Wife wants one for her Starfinder character.

It should cost much at all.
Maintenance cost should not be all that much either.
While on the ship cleaning bots take care of any accidents.
If your ship has a culinary synthesizer then all you need to do is walk up to it and say "Canine supplement #29."
Though I admit that I like Garretmander's suggestion of treating it as a Lvl 1-5 (maybe higher) companion per the AA3 rules.

If it's healing, I would certainly second this suggestion.

I absolutely concur, The rules in AA3 are perfect for this, check out the Empathnid on page 144 they have an ability called Stabilizing Venom (Ex,4th Lvl) which is a great place to start. I really enjoy how they made these rules.. we really needed them.

What "healing"? I think you are confusing my question with the OP's.
