I have not been able to find a fairly comprehensive region list of the common regions. I would like to compile such a list for new characters to be able to select their "home region" from. Unless someone can point me towards one, I'm going to start compiling a list here in this thread, starting with all the ones listed in the Campaign Setting and a few others.

It could be useful to list the continent for each home region too, just a suggestion though!

What would be nice is a little remark for each region giving it a description and then equating it to another real life or fantasy setting so others can get a better perception of it and judge for themselves. They might find themselves wanting to sandbox that location or some other form of investiture. I know I've been keeping tabs myself in a document when I see some remarks come up in the forums.
People just need to realize the caveat that it's a subjective list unless the Powers-That-Be verifies the source of inspiration.
