Looking for a replacement GM for established Kingmaker campaign

Recruitment

Grand Lodge

Looking for GM who would like to take over an established long running Kingmaker campaign game.

This Kingmaker game has been ongoing since January 2013. I have GMed it for a little over 2 years taking over from the first original GM, and I am ready to take a break.

The players are looking forward to continuing the game and particularly enjoy the Roleplay aspect of the game.

Currently, the adventure is near the end of Book 2 The River Runs Red facing the Troll threat.

If you are interested or have questions please post here or PM me.

Speaking as the representative of our nation's tourism board, we're looking forward to welcoming you! ^_^ So please, do join us.

I'd need to read the game so far before I committed, but I'm looking to get back into GMing. Give me a day or three to work through the game so I can see about the style you're working with, and I'll decide then.

I took a hiatus from the boards because of a few deaths in the family about a year and a half ago. I struggled on with my Kingmaker game (start of Book 2) for a while, but eventually got off the forums completely. I've been easing myself back into it, and I was going to start a Kingmaker recruitment soon. If you have any questions about me/my GMing style, please let me know.

Of course, if someone else jumps in before me, I'd be happy to step back as well.

Hello, GM Aest. ^_^ Thank you for your interest!

I do have a question: how would you describe your own style as a GM?

Enjoy the story so far, and please let us know what you think.

i was just reading through stuff and saw this.

Not applying, i wont be able to GM to save my life, but was wondering if you wont mind another player perhaps?

If not, have fun, and happy you found a GM

Hi, thanks for the question.

My GM style is more role-play oriented, with the mechanics of the game determining the story. I like to make one big post at a time, rather than several smaller ones, and I like to find images (and occasionally sounds off of YouTube) to put in my posts to enhance them. I try to have the NPCs in games I'm GMing have lives beyond their interactions with the players.

To be more detailed, I'd have to see how your previous GM/GMs have handled the game so far. I'm going to try to be stylistically similar to make transitioning between GMs work well.

I personally wouldn't mind. Please have a look at our current character roster and let us know which role you'd like to play.

Much thanks :) will have a look

Can i have a link to the campaign please?

Well, that all sounds fine to me. ^_^

We are here. ^_^

To potential players - Sorry, but while there maybe a vacancy for new players, we are currently looking to recruit a GM to take over the Campaign. Any new player additions would be at the discretion of the new GM.

GM Aest - I appreciate your interest, feel free to look around the Campaign and ask any questions of me or th players!

For GM Aest and any other potential GMs
Currently the game is on pause due to the holiday, GM recruitment and healthy respect for trolls. Four of the player have expected a desire to continue playing in the game. They are:
Asta Blackheart - Witch Queen and animal talker.
Torod - Half-elf Hunter and his dower Thylacine animal companion serive as the kingdom’s Marshal.
Arabeth - Winged oracle and healer.
Arctorus - post-human Bloodrager, mutated by experimental magic to look more like a large reptilian creature.

Looks like you've got a pretty good bunch of characters. I'm still thinking on whether or not to go to five people, but I'm most likely going to pick up the game.

Out of curiosity to the players currently playing, how much do you know about the AP past this point?

Grand Lodge

Dower? Now there's a word I don't often see.

We are just past the point of what I really know about the AP. I know some broad strokes but not anything specific.

Okay. I think I'm going to give GMing for you guys a shot. I'll hop over to discussion and re-introduce myself to your other members.

I hope GM Aest works out for you guys!
