Whats the biggest monster (in terms of size?)

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I think it's the Oliphaunt of Jandelay, since it's implied to be like 1000 feet tall.

Rovagug.

Yo momma.

Azathoth is the size of a star.

I meant with stats.

The Oliphaunt of Jandelay then. His stats are in Mythic Realms I believe.

Is the Oliphaunt bigger than a bhole (another monster for which I would like a pronunciation guide; as someone who did Irish in school I always read it as "vole" but suspect that does not work in many contexts) ?

Size isn't a stat. This isn't Runequest.

It has significantly larger space and reach values, at least.

Scarab Sages

1 person marked this as a favorite.

We always say Bee-hole (followed by a fit of giggling)

It has significantly larger space and reach values, at least.

The ecology entry for it in Into the Nightmare Rift does talk about those values as "just the thing's head is just poking out of the ground" and suggest other options for dealing with the full immensity of the beast, though.

That's true. Though there's also the fact that certain details of the lore seem to suggest that the Oliphaunt is over a thousand feet tall, which doesn't seem consistent with its stated space and reach either.

Well it's space is 80 feet which is already 16 inches (meaning you'd need a big platter or something to represent it). If it was 1000 feet or whatever it would be bigger than the battlemat.
