Note, I think this might be meant for the PF1 forum, not the PF2 Playtest forum.
That said, Stormbolts is pretty much the strongest blast spell in PF1. d8/CL damage, friend/foe discrimination, Stun for a round on a failed save, and it targets Fort so Evasion won't save you. If your GM knows about this spell and wants to cause you enough challenge to use it against you then it is a great choice.
Maze is guaranteed to cost you at least 1 turn with no save, quite possibly a lot more if you don't have good Int. This is a good choice.
It kinda depends one what threats you expect to face and what your GM is like. If they don't throw a lot of these really nasty spells at you it's less good. Maybe you'd be better off with staples like Fireball and Confusion, or Dragon's Breath.
But unless you have some expectation as to what spells await it's probably better to go with nasty ones like Stormbolts and Maze, as there are so many staples that trying to block the would be a crapshoot. Like you might block Fireball or Confusion but then your enemy uses Cone of Cold or Slow.
