Is there any song you like so much you say "there's one thing wrong with this song, it ends?"

Just wondering?

Yes, all of them.

"In Your Wildest Dreams" by The Moody Blues

Any song from the Macross series.

"Feelin' Stronger Every Day" by Chicago is a good candidate for me. Most Chicago songs with a strong horn outro fall in that category for me.

But, for the most part, I listen to a lot of prog, and many of those songs arguably don't end anyway.

"Euphoria" by Imogen Heap
"Brave Shine" by Aimer
"One Headlight" by The Wallflowers
Most of what I've heard of Boston.
"Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas.

Like above, Boston is one of those bands for me. Their music has always just plain made me happy.

But it's so hard to choose anything else. WASP's "Hallowed Ground" really got to me when I first heard it. "Crystal Ball" by Styx is another one. There's a bootleg version of the song with a verse that didn't make the record that really makes me wish the song were longer. I've recently discovered a funk band called Here Come the Mummies whose nearly every song is like this to me. Just so many songs by so many artists over the years. Music has always played a very important role in my life and so it's a very hard thing to narrow them down.

I can't think of a Boston song I've heard.

Youtube is your friend for good time 70s rock.

"Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. Or pretty much any cover done by others.

There are some beautiful covers of that song. But it kills me that it gets sung at funerals because it is not a religious song.

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Large (and I mean LARGE) chunks of what you'll find on Clutch albums.

Led Zeppelin's take on "When the Levee Breaks"

"Gimme Shelter"

"One For My Baby (And One More For the Road" Especially Sinatra when he brings his a-game.

"Il Sogno Di Doretta." I prefer Leontyne Price, but there are lots of beautiful takes on it.

"Oye Como Va," the Santana version.

Dark Archive

No, because that's why "repeat" was invented.

Art is about how the viewer interprets it as much (maybe more?) as how the artist intended it.
