Any other book with idols aside from Legendary Games?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I love the idols described in Occult Adventures and Legendary Games' Ancient Idols.

Are there any other books with more idols, their stats and their fluff?

Thanks.

There is a Paizo adventure with an idol, it is:

The House on Hook Street

Thanks, but I was aware of it. I'm looking for more idol ideas and ideas around the idols (magical items, more abilities, more ideas for sacrifices, taboo around sacrifices, spells, rituals, etc). I want more textured idols.

They are a great way to solve Forgotten Realms Deity Syndrome and players get to actually fight and interact with (pseudo) gods. It is more satisfying than just fighting cultists, but never be able to deal with their boss.

I have an old living oak tree idol idea, but I can't find suitable sacrifice ideas for it. It is about the cycle of life and death. Some sort of living sacrifices sound right in some circumstances, but it isn't evil (or good or lawful or chaotic).

In fiction all I think of is the movie Conan the Destroyer. Dagoth sounds like an idol with a curse preventing it form getting the animate object ability. The horn will lift that curse and the sacrifice is needed for it to keep its looks. That horn sounds like the base for magic items for idols.

How about plant stuff or early remains for the tree idol?

Birth is messy and leaves lots of organic debris after the young emerge. Sounds like that would be great fertilizer for a tree.

So rather than sacrifice, celebrate the birch birth.

I did a quick look through of Occult Adventures but I didn't see idols. Do you happen to know where abouts in that book idols are described?

Glad you love Ancient Idols and that it is providing lots of fun for your campaign.

Another resource you could check out is the living idol creature template in the Aethera Campaign Setting.

You have the Varisian idol is listed in Varisia, Birthplace of Legends pg. 15, Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide pg. 11, and Curse of the Crimson Throne Player's Guide pg. 12
You also have the rules in Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Occult Realms and on the SRD: idols.

EDIT: Also, there is the Summoner's Idol for improving summon spells. From: CotCTPG, RotRPG.
