On the one hand it looks fun, I liked the previous ones (even the last buggy disaster..at least the pc version near release), and *somebody* has to see to the care and feeding of Michael Ironside. On the other hand, though, it's Ubisoft, and they've thoroughly annoyed me with their hamfisted attempts at copyright protection. I understand the need, but the way they've gone about it previously....ugh. I guess if I had a console this wouldn't be an issue, but I like PCs for gaming, so...

Ah, yeah I avoided the problems with Ubi on the PC by buying a 360. I use the general rule of thumb: Shooters/action on console, RTS on PC. It saves me a headache for the most part.
I finished a couple of days ago. It wasn't spectacularly great, i'm not a fan of the angsty, emo-verging Sam Fisher. They've made him too human, I miss the boogeyman that he used to be in older games. Now he looks too much like a Baldwin brother in some action flick. However, its a little more intense at the higher speed of play.
Anyway, I do like being able to affect the terrain now to take out baddies. So far, its been fun... but I didn't realize how many engines and chandeliers are hanging everywhere.
The game gets my thumbs up.

Just played and finished on the Realistic difficulty. Really good. My only real complaint is that the last few levels turn towards third person shooter territory, and that the main campaign is short. Hopefully they'll release some new maps for the various co-op modes soon so I can get more fun out of the game.
I do have to say, Mark and Execute makes you feel like a total badass. Dropping off a pipe to take out some poor mook then shooting his four friends in the head? Yes please.
