Convert organized play character to alias?

Hello!

Way back when I first started PbP'ing on this site, I created several characters for various purposes (PFS, non-PFS). At the time I didn't understand that there was a way to give an alias a profile so that it can have a character sheet, and so I made all of the characters as organized play. So: is there a way to convert those characters, not being used for actual PFS/organized play, into aliases?

This is unfortunately not something that we have the ability to help you out with. Seems like a more tech-minded solution may be required, so I'm going to move this over to website feedback and ping our tech team to see if there is a way to help you out with this!

Unfortunately, it is not possible in our system to convert aliases/Organized Play characters around. However, if you haven't reported games/made posts under the characters, they can be deleted from the Organized Play page. If you've made less than 10 posts on one of these, you can also rename it.

Chris, if he's been PBPing on this site, all of those characters will have more than ten posts! We're pretty prolific when we game on your site!

Deleting is no good, I'd rather not lose their posts (and some are still in games).

I just figured I should look into designating them correctly. If that can't be done, then I'll continue to know which characters are which. Thanks!

I added qualifiers to my duplicate aliases when I found I couldn't transfer them into/out of PFS. So I have 'Falandar Thornarrow' and 'Faladar Thornarrow, Pathfinder'.
