I guess it's possible that this has already been answered but I haven't found it and would like opinions of everyone else. If a 19 y/o human character were to drink a potion and the potion then reduced his age by five years, according to the rules he no longer qualifies for many stats, skills, abilities of his former self. I can see how strength, and Con are all affected but would he really lose his abilities? A 14 y/o rogue isn't much different from a 15 y/o rogue. What if he became a 12 y/o human? I know what the rules are for young characters but I'm pretty sure they were written for starting characters not for characters that revert to a younger age after attaining their class abilities. At what point does it change his class if at all? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The only thing that would happen is his stats would be adjusted based on the new age. He would not lose any other abilities including levels. Since the only mental stat affected is Wisdom you do not lose any skill ranks. If your new age is young enough you may also change size and have your stats adjusted further, but this would be for a very young character.
About the only class that I could see being affected may be sorcerer. Normally a sorcerer’s powers manifest around the time of puberty so if the characters new age is prior to this it may make him unable to access his powers. This is not directly stated in the rules so it is more of a roleplaying than a rule.

There is the Young Template for such an occasion. While this is probably best used on Monsters, it's not unreasonable to use it on someone magically de-aged to a young age if you feel you really need to.
Note that the Kineticist pre-gen for PFS (Yoon) is a young Human. Besides being Small instead of Medium, she isn't any different (i.e. is built on the same point cost). So changing stats might not even be necessary unless you (and your player) think(s) it adds some level of fun.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all of your input and feel much better in my general knowledge of this particular problem. Although I no longer see it as being a problem. I agree that based upon how young the character becomes whether or not changing the character to size small and reducing the physical stats but keeping the mental stats as is (Just never seemed right that they would lose their mental skills and abilities due to becoming younger). Again, thank you everyone
