To persuade or not to persuade

Playing the Game

When coming to social interactions beyond diplomacy and intimidation, how is good old persuasion (maybe even seduction) supposed to work if there is no skill specifically for it?
Diplomacy seems to be closest to persuasion, but the description does not really cover persuasion/seduction. Maybe "make an impression" comes close but the description is a bit fuzzy and does not specifically cover persuasion/seduction as said. Any suggestions? Did I miss something?

I think the Request action of Diplomacy is supposed to cover persuasion. I don't think anything in RAW is supposed to cover seduction specifically.

Diplomacy's Make an Impression will make someone more friendly and helpful to you, which provides a few different positive modifiers on social skill checks with them.

Request will never make a NPC do something they wouldn't want to do, so persuasion or seduction still requires some investigation (Perception in their presence or Society check to know more about them) to see if the person would even be interested in the Request.

Diplomacy's Make an Impression will indeed make the most sense. I wished, there would be an example in the rules as I think persuasion (seduction) is differing from Diplomacy which is rather negotiating and negotiating a seduction might be technically valid it somehow sound a bit od.^^

Poor poor Yorick.
