I have a player testing the alchemist, and he wants to use a sling to throw his bombs. There really isn't anything in the book that would cover this, that I've found.
Any direction on this would be appreciated.
It's not listed as an allowed use, and 1 bomb has the same weight / bulk as 10 sling bullets. Depending on whether you want to run strictly by the book or not, I don't think it would break the game to permit it but at a -2 penalty to hit.

Slings can use only the Sling Bullet type ammo, and trying to use them in conjunction with Alchemical Items is not currently a feature yet.
They very well may publish a new Sling-Staff/Bomb-Lobber piece of Equipment but as written right now, your player is out of luck on this front.
IMO: Let them describe doing this all they like, but there is no mechanical interaction that would allow the two weapons to interact.
