can you use the Staves to add to your Spellcasting

The Staff of Fire is a +1 magic weapon and I can use it to do the somatic casting. So does that mean I could use its +1 bonus to my Spell Roll and DC for any magic that I use the staff for Somatic casting?

Also, it's not a +1 magic weapon. It's an expert quality weapon.
(Unless you separately got it enchanted with a +1 weapon potency rune).
