My copy of the armory is seriously messed up

Hi I received my copy starfinder Armory today and the pages are like really screwed up. The pages all seem right until I get to what is supposed to be page 66 and it says 74 then we have 75 then back to 68,69 then we skip to 78,79 then back to 72,73,74,75,76,77, then we have 78 again this time in order 79,80,81-89 is ok then we have 82 and 83 again then it skips to 92,93 then back to 86,87 then 96-160 are ok. I am missing pages 66 and 67,70,71, 90 and 91 completely and I have doubles of 78,79, 74, 75,82 and 83 and Im not really sure from their I would really prefer a book that isn't so messed up thank you Lisa.

I seem to have the same numbering issue on mine.

But at least the binding was intact. For the moment.

EDIT: .pdf looks 'clean'.

The hardcover... not so much.

Could you both please send pictures of the page oddities and any defects to Customer.Service@Paizo.com? This will enable us to determine the underlying issue in the books. Once we have those pictures, we will look at how to set you guys up with functional copies. Thank you!

It's REALLY hard to take pictures of this, but I'll do my best!

EDIT: While I'm working on this, it might be prudent to have someone check inventory to verify that this is not a recurrent issue through a significant chunk of the print run.

I almost missed it myself until I went to look for 'Special Materials'...


For what it's worth, my copy of Armory arrived today and it has no problems.


My book has this problem too...


As requested to those above, I sent an email with a picture showing duplicate pages (pg.78) in the same book. Like ladydragona described, my book matches every issue in the same order. Some pages appear missing, some out of order, etc.

Thank you for letting us know. If you have a defective book that you purchased from us, please send a picture of the book to customer.service@paizo.com and we should be able to get a replacement sent out to you (keep in mind that we answer emails in the order they were received and have a bit of a backlog due to GenCon).

If you purchased it elsewhere your first step will be seeing if that place will exchange it for you, as we have steps in place to replace damaged or defective items through distribution. If they cannot, then follow the above steps and we can get you taken care of.

These kinds of issues are relatively common in book production especially when you are printing tens of thousands of copies at a time. We apologize for the inconvenience and would be more than happy to replace them for you.

you don't need to send the books themselves. Pictures are all that we need.


I sent an email with a picture to Paizo on 8/8/2018 and never received any kind of response back. Can I have an update on a replacement of my messed up copy?

No, it was not from a different email address. I sent the email from the email address listed on my account. I did not receive a bounce back and there was no reply in my spam folder.
