Apparently there is a template out there to create giant-blooded creatures, such as storm giant / human hybrids. I'm told it is in the giantslayers adventure path somewhere. This is relevant for a game I'm running (I like to use official Paizo when I can). Does anybody know the source?
The Advanced Bestiary (for Pathfinder; D&D 3.5 version also available) has the Giantblooded template, but it's 3rd party, depending of what is available to you and your players.
there is the giant-kin template. it is for a cross between an ogre and giant of specific type(4 types, frost,fire, hill and stone). i guess you can also use that build for other cross races. (probebly they went with ogres as the size is close. as opposed to medium humanoids that make the whole breeding a problem).
there is also the simple template 'giant' but that is more to make a creature of giant size. not of the giant race.

Half-giants are a race in Dreamscarred Press' Ultimate Psionics series. Well worth picking up!
