How does it increase as you gain levels exactly?

While raging, the barbarian gains a +1 natural armor bonus. This bonus increases by +1 for every four levels the barbarian has attained. A barbarian must have the lesser beast totem rage power to select this rage power. A barbarian must be at least 6th level to select this rage power.

Exactly as it says on the tin:

• +2 bonus at Barbarian levels 6 and 7 (you have four levels in barbarian but not eight, so 1+1)
• +3 bonus at Barbarian levels 8-11 (Eight levels in Barbarian but not twelve, so 1+2)
• +4 bonus at Barbarian levels 12-15 (Twelve levels in Barbarian but not Sixteen, so 1+3)
• +5 bonus at Barbarian levels 16-19 (Sixteen levels in Barbarian but not Twenty, so 1+4)
• +6 at Barbarian level 20 (Twenty levels in barbarian, so 1+5)

Basically, it's 1 plus (Barbarian level divided by four), dropping any decimals.
