Fancy Hellknight Armor

Has there been any official clarification on if Hellknight Plate can be part of a specific suit of magic armor? I'm looking at that Plate Armor of the Deep for my Order of the Torrent Hellknight, but my Google Fu informs me that Hellknight Plate doesn't count as full plate.

Same official clarification as having a greatsword of venom or a holy avenger falcata.

The item must be something in print*.

*There are a variety of boons, both found on Chronicles and Convention Boons, that give some combinations some leeway, but I am not sure about the specific combination you're asking about.

That means Gelugon Armor is about the only "fancy" Hellknight armor since in the description it says, 'This Hellknight Armor +3". . .

But Hellknight Armor can be made out of special materials, right?

It's a mundane item, no different than Fullplate or Longsword or Musical Instrument. You can make it out of any appropriate Special Material.

What's the verdict on when you can actually purchase Hellknight armor?

Do you have to be in the prestige class to do so?

I'm trying to decide between the normal Hellknight Armor and waiting to get fire forged steel Hellknight Armor (5000 told) for my gate hellknight.

He's going to be Fighter 5 then Hellknight PRC, dagger STR TWF with secondary dex.

If I get fire forged steel daggers AND armor anytime I take fire damage they activate and add extra fire damage on the attacks.

My signifier of the Gate has a +5 Spell-storing Mental Focus Mithral Hellknight Plate. Pretty good caster armor.

The Hellknight Obedience for Gate removing spell failure chance is fantastic.

No, he's a human. . . It turns out Fighter Dagger user TWF build is simultaneously feat and attribute thirsty.

I haven't decided what armor to get for my signified yet, but he's a cleric so I don't have to worry about spell failure (and he's blind and has a 7 str, 7 dex, and 7 con so other than straight AC bonus not much matters for him.)
