Do you still get the mutagen's bonuses, or do you just get the bonus to saves and temporary HP?

Well, that means it's quite subpar then, since all it does is improve your saves and give you temporary HP at the penalty to a number of skills, some of which are quite useful!

Most people would take saved and hp over skills when they know they needed saves and hp. So not really subpar. Fair trade really
