tiefling question

Which of the subsects of the tiefling heritages would be most like a goat or faun? Why? Because i wana make a character that thinks and would be mistaken for a faun.

Hmm... I'd go with Demon-spawn for that. Specifically, they could be descended from a Schir Demon (Bestiary 3), which has distinctly goat-like features. You can take the Fiendish Sprinter Alternate Racial Trait (ARG) to get hooved feet.

Hellspawn are also noted for their frequently goatish features. And while it's unlikely, a beastbrood tiefling descended from a goat-like rakshasa is always a possibility. Finally, you could use a generic tiefling and decide that they're descended from a forlarren, giving ample justification for their feylike/faunlike status. Lots of possibilities. ^_^
