I am working on a build for an unchained rogue/weapon master fighter that utilizes the Sap Master feat line. Since it only specifies a blunt weapon used to deal non lethal damage I am looking at using a Greatclub and Knockout training in order to activate sap master.
I also wanted to get Dex to damage with the Greatclub via finesse training and
Fighter's Finesse
Finesse training states
starting at 3rd level, she can select any one type of weapon that can be used with Weapon Finesse (such as rapiers or daggers).
Since it does not specify a light weapon would a Greatclub be a viable choice for finesse training if taken after 4 levels of weapon master fighter, which allows me to use weapon finesse with the Greatclub? As the Greatclub is now a weapon that can be used with weapon finesse.

I don't see how a Weapon Master Fighter can get the Advanced Weapon Training Fighter's Finesse at 4th level. In fact, it seems like that Archetype replaces all of the Weapon Training features, which is the way you get Advance Weapon Training selections; they may not be able to get it at all.
But to answer your question; yes that is how the interact; if you have Fighter's Finesse for a weapon group that includes a Greatclub, then you can select Greatclub for Unchained Rogue's Finesse Training class feature.

Special: Fighters that have the weapon master archetype can select this feat beginning at 4th level. The benefits of a weapon master’s advanced weapon training options apply only to his selected weapon rather than all weapons in the same fighter weapon group, and he can’t select the weapon specialist advanced weapon training option. A weapon master can select this feat as a bonus feat; if he does so, it doesn’t count for the purpose of the requirement that it can be taken at most once per 5 fighter levels.

Finesse training requires a weapon that can be used with Weapon Finesse. Using the Foghter's finesse training doesn't change the fact that the greatclub isn't a weapon that can be used eith weapon finesse.
Agreed. "This weapon can be used with weapon finesse" is different (stronger) than merely "You can use this weapon with weapon finesse."

With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (such as a sap, unarmed strike, or whip), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack—not even with the usual –4 penalty.
In addition to (or in place of) Knockout Training, you'll need to either get the Bludgeoner feat, the Merciful special weapon ability, or to add the Nonlethal quality to your weapon with weapon modifications.
You can knock foes out cold with just about any blunt instrument.
Benefit: You take no penalty on attack rolls for using a lethal bludgeoning weapon to deal nonlethal damage.
Normal: You take a –4 penalty on attack rolls when using a lethal weapon to deal nonlethal damage. You cannot use a lethal weapon to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack.
Special: A rogue with this feat can use a lethal bludgeoning weapon to deal nonlethal damage with a sneak attack.
Just ignoring the -4 penalty to attack isn't enough to deal nonlethal sneak attack damage.

As others have said, the Greatclub probably wouldn't benefit from Finesse Training. For example, you wouldn't enchant your Greatclub with Agile or Dueling, which both specifies a weapon useable with Weapon Finesse.
If you still want 1.5x Dex on a bludgeoning weapon, then choose the usual (Aldori dueling sword, Estoc, Elven branced spear, Elven curve blade), while picking up the Weapon Versatility feat.
EWP
Weapon Focus
Weapon Versatility
Bludgeoner
Exotic Weapon Proficiency can be bought with a (cracked) Opalescent White Pyramid ioun stone for 1,500 gp, which will also have a 25% chance of giving you Weapon Focus if placed in a wayfinder. Assuming average rolls, you'd need to buy four cracked ioun stones for one to have resonant powers.
If you sell those three cracked stones without resonant powers, then the total cost would be 4250 gp for EWP and Weapon Focus.

And just FYI, Accomplished Sneak Attacker can only be taken once.
