Oozemorph's Capstone?

Rules Questions

So, upfront, I know that the Final Aspect of Shifter is useless for Oozemorph. I'm just hoping for a FAQ or errata giving them a capstone that they can actually use. How about it, Paizo?

Not likely......

Aw, c'mon, let's not be negative. They fixed the base class and put up some FAQs on the oozemorph, it could happen.

And then they announced 2.0 sadly I doubt we are likely to see much FAQ/Errata for the old edition short of what you GM issues themselves.

That's debatable. There's a few dead levels, issues with the aspects that need addressing, and the limited choices of wildshape. I don't really know any table that's currently allowing the shifter as they feel it's incomplete. Legendary Shifter is the only shifter being allowed and everytime it was a uphill battle against the "no 3pp" rule.

I ain't gonna argue with you about that. I waited months for the Shifter to come out cuz all I wanted was a character who could turn into a hippo. Needless to say, I didn't get that.

Not seeing what you mean by dead levels, though. Unless you're counting when the Defensive Instinct power increases...

I've played a Shifter a few times and found it to be great fun.

We're not particularly zealous optimisers, but the updated Shifter worked fine for us.

The group I play with are heavy optimizers and we use Paizo's Shifter. 'Course, we don't allow any 3pp whatsoever, but still.
